Built in the award-winning Dragon workshop, the flagship of Violin Pros' in-house line is a "hot-rodded" version of the standard Dragon 50 model. Beautifully-figured maple, the choicest spruce, and Dragon's finest luthiers combine to create a warm yet brilliantly rich tonal palette with depth and plenty of carrying power. The varnish is tastefully antiqued amber color over a strikingly transparent golden ground. Ebony fittings with Guarneri model chinrest. Where the LeVesque really shines is with its super-premium professional setup. The DR50 is only setup by our most trusted luthiers here in the USA with a top-of-the-line Aubert "A" level bridge and Evah Pirazzi strings. 4/4 size only.
